Pockets exposed as they should be

Ask anyone who has ever encroached the subject with me and they can tell you that I stand firm in my belief that Summer denim shorts are best served with a pockets exposed beyond their hem. We've looked at the subtle, but then there are those denim shorts, such as this pair from Dsquared2, which take exposed pockets and make them a statement piece. So much so, in this instance, that they compete with the Chanel sandals for your attention.
